Interesting spelling compared to "qualitaet". Similar to German regional dialecty things like Bavarian, as they have alternate spellings of dozens of words. It's written exactly how my German teacher pronounced it, and she was a German Frank, so...

Between that and "100-Årig" vs. "100-Jahrig", I'd say it goes a good way toward the axiom "The Swedes are just bad Germans".
